Schedule: Day and night shifts available; 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio in a fast-paced, 36-bed surgical unit

Highlights:

• Specialize in post-operative surgical care including vascular, bariatric, urology, colorectal, and general surgery
• Work with a collaborative team of 40 RNs with dedicated charge nurses and unit support staff
• Utilize Meditech EMR and specialized equipment including wound vacs, drains, bariatric-fitted ADLs, and lifts
• Short average length of stay requires strong time management skills in a dynamic environment
• Comprehensive skill development in wound care, central line management, TPN, blood administration, and ostomy care
• Opportunity to float to medical-surgical units for professional growth and variety

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong time management and efficiency skills essential for fast-paced surgical environment
• Demonstrated teamwork abilities and collaborative approach to patient care
• Experience in post-operative surgical settings preferred (vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, colorectal)
• Proficiency in wound care, catheter management, ostomy care, and central line maintenance preferred
