Schedule: 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period; holiday rotation as required

Highlights:

• Cardiac telemetry unit specializing in post-MI care, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
• 16-bed unit with average daily census of 16 patients serving adult to geriatric population
• Epic EMR system required; additional experience with Pyxis and SBAR protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Float opportunities to other cardiac telemetry units or specialty areas as needed
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum one year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of application
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum one year of nursing experience; cardiac telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience managing 1:5 patient ratios
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and cardiac drip administration
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions only
