Location: Vero Beach, Florida

Schedule: 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts); float coverage required across multiple campuses within 20-mile radius

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit role in a 332-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Experience with cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia management required
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide; proficiency level 3 or 4 required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with potential to float across multiple hospital locations
• Comprehensive orientation provided with study materials for required competency testing
• First-time travelers welcome with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit experience; ICU experience also required
• Current RN license (Florida license or pending accepted)
• Active certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (required at submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR (level 3 or 4)
• Strong skills in telemetry, central line management, blood product administration, and cardiac drip management
• Ability to pass EKG and pharmacology assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)
• Nicotine-free status required; negative 10-panel drug screen plus cotinine test mandatory
• Two professional references from direct supervisors or nurse managers
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
