Description
Start Date: December 22, 2025
Location: Plano, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day or night shift available; patient ratio 1:5 (may flex to 1:6); 4 weekend shifts per month; shift starts at 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM with unit huddle
Highlights:
- 36-bed ortho trauma specialty medical surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
- Experience with polytrauma patients, non-surgical cervical fractures, downgraded TBI cases, and burn downgrades
- Meditech EMR system in use
- Collaborative team environment with charge nurse support on every shift
- Opportunity to work with complex patient populations including heparin and Protonix drips
- Float opportunities across all medical surgical units for professional growth
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license or ability to obtain
- Minimum 1 year of medical surgical nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Ortho and/or trauma patient experience strongly preferred
