Schedule: Day or night shift available; patient ratio 1:5 (may flex to 1:6); 4 weekend shifts per month; shift starts at 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM with unit huddle

• 36-bed ortho trauma specialty medical surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
• Experience with polytrauma patients, non-surgical cervical fractures, downgraded TBI cases, and burn downgrades
• Meditech EMR system in use
• Collaborative team environment with charge nurse support on every shift
• Opportunity to work with complex patient populations including heparin and Protonix drips
• Float opportunities across all medical surgical units for professional growth

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or ability to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of medical surgical nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ortho and/or trauma patient experience strongly preferred
