Schedule: 36 or 40 guaranteed hours per week; cardiac call required

Highlights:

• Work in a dedicated cardiac operating room with a focus on complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and MAZE procedures
• Scrub experience required – you'll be working directly in this capacity with a dynamic surgical team
• Cardiac call coverage is part of the role; participate in other OR cases when no CVOR cases are scheduled
• Float within scope to support facility needs and broaden your skill set

• Structured orientation with study materials provided; EKG and pharmacology competency assessments included

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of direct CVOR experience with scrub experience required
• Active RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications (must be active at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Experience with cardiac procedures such as atrial septal defect repair, coronary artery bypass graft, mitral valve replacement, and TAVR
• Proficiency with cell saver, administration of blood products, specimen handling, universal protocol, and wound management
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen plus cotinine test required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Two professional references from a direct supervisor, manager, or director
