Description
Start Date: January 12, 2026
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 shifts per week with every other weekend commitment; 3:1 to 4:1 patient ratios
Highlights:
- Work in a 48-bed Progressive Care Unit recognized as a 2024 Unit of Distinction award winner
- Primary nursing model with focus on direct patient care
- Experience with advanced equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, in-room vital sign monitoring, and centralized telemetry
- Manage patients requiring drips, ventilator support, and assist with procedures including chest tubes, central lines, and emergency intubations
- Electronic documentation using Meditech EMR system
- Professional development in a high-acuity intermediate care environment
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Nevada or ability to obtain
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care (IMC) experience required
- Demonstrated experience managing drips and ventilators
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Commitment to bedside shift reporting and AIDET communication framework
- Royal blue scrubs required; no artificial nails
