Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 2 weekends per month; holiday rotation includes 1 summer holiday and 2 winter holidays; patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for certain device patients

Highlights:

• 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in post-operative cardiac surgery care and advanced cardiac devices
• High-volume cardiac surgery program with 5 full-time surgeons performing advanced procedures including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADs
• Intensivist assigned to unit 24/7 with free-floating charge nurse support and dedicated administrative care tech Monday through Friday
• HCA Unit of Distinction Award Winner and Daisy Award Recipient facility
• Documentation system: Meditech; equipment includes Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps
• May float to other ICUs or floors as needed based on facility requirements

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Hemodynamic monitoring and PA catheter skills required
• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred
• Ability to assist with central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations on the unit
