Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 2 weekends per month and rotational holiday coverage (1 summer holiday and 2 winter holidays). Floating to other ICUs as needed.

• 16-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit specializing in post-operative cardiac surgery care
• High-volume advanced cardiac surgery program with 5 full-time surgeons and 24/7 intensivist coverage
• Patient ratios of 1:2 standard, 1:1 for device patients; free-floating charge nurse available to assist
• Advanced critical care experience with devices including ECMO, Centrimags, HM3 LVADs, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Meditech documentation system with Phillips bedside telemetry and Alaris IV pumps
• Recognized as an HCA Unit of Distinction Award Winner and Daisy Award Recipient

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU background required
• Experience with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT therapies
