Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM start time; weekend shifts required; block scheduling not available

Highlights:

• Neuro stepdown specialty unit with dedicated patient population
• NIHSS stroke assessment and neurological monitoring required
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Minimum 2 years of neuro stepdown or strong medical/surgical stepdown experience required

Requirements:

• Active RN license with Nursys verification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification current and valid
• Minimum 2 years of neuro stepdown experience; strong medical/surgical stepdown nurses with NIHSS and stepdown exposure may be considered
• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
• Complete work history with no gaps exceeding 60 days
• Current skills checklist and professional references
