```htmlJob Opportunity – Progressive Care / Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Georgia
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; every other weekend; no call required
Highlights:
- Stepdown unit with mixed patient population including medical-surgical telemetry, progressive care, neuro, respiratory, and cardiac patients
- Patient ratios of 1:4-5 with assignments that may include all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a combination based on acuity and staffing needs
- Experience with cardiac drip titration, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia management required
- Epic charting system with Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; no block scheduling
- Maximum 7 days requested time off with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4-12)
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Minimum 1 year of progressive care or telemetry nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips, telemetry interpretation, and managing intermediate acuity patients
- Two supervisory references from Manager level or above
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must be available to complete compliance documents and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
