Description

Job Opportunity – Cath Lab RN – Alaska

Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 day shifts with on-call requirements (1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend); approximately one Saturday per month as part of scheduled shifts

Highlights:

Comprehensive cardiac and interventional procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCI, IABP, and advanced devices (Impella, balloon pump, laser, rotablator, shockwave)
Epic charting system in a 407-bed acute care hospital with extensive interdisciplinary support
Guaranteed 70 hours per two-week period with minimal call-off risk
May float to EP or IR within scope to expand clinical experience
First-time travelers welcome with 40 hours of paid orientation

Requirements:

Active Alaska RN license (must be in hand for auto-offer; pending licenses accepted for submission)
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Epic charting experience strongly preferred
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, and cardiac stent placement
Familiarity with advanced cardiac devices and procedural sedation monitoring
Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
