Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 Night shifts, 6:45pm – 7:15am, weekdays with every other weekend

Highlights:

• 70-bed rural acute care facility with 28-bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
• 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio with LPN support on night shift
• 13-week contract with possible extension; 24 hours of orientation provided
• Float to ER, ICU, and surgical units as needed; House Supervisor available 24/7
• Cerner EMR system; interdisciplinary team includes PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response
• Diverse patient population including adults, geriatrics, and occasional pediatric/adolescent patients

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in acute care/telemetry
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association only)
• PALS certification preferred
• Skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, blood product administration, wound care, respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow NC), and post-surgical care
• Experience with diverse patient conditions including post-MI, CVA, renal failure, and total joint replacement
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case)
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
