Location: Salisbury, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday

Highlights:

• Outpatient medical oncology clinic setting with 16 exam rooms and 20 infusion rooms
• No call, no weekends, no floating requirements
• 13-week contract working with adult and geriatric oncology and hematology patients
• Epic EMR experience required
• Duties include phone triage, patient portal messaging, venipuncture, PORT-A-Cath access, and infusion therapy
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• North Carolina or Compact RN license (must be in hand at start)
• Current BLS certification
• Outpatient oncology experience required
• Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs, phlebotomy, and telephone triage
• Chemotherapy experience: ability to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values
• EKG skills required (EKG testing must be passed prior to start)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must provide own stethoscope
