Description
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift with mixed 8-hour and 12-hour rotations (7p-7a and 11p-7a); Must work 2 weekend nights per 6-week schedule
Highlights:
- Level I Trauma center with comprehensive surgical services including cardiovascular, neurology, vascular, and transplant surgery
- Exposure to advanced procedures including liver and kidney transplants, craniotomy, spinal fusion, and vascular interventions
- Electronic charting system: Cerner
- 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours of orientation
- May float to GI unit or surgery center as needed
- Holiday requirement: 1 winter and 1 summer holiday (including on-call coverage)
Requirements:
- Pennsylvania state license or compact license required at time of submission
- BSN degree required
- Minimum 3 years of operating room experience
- Level I Trauma center experience required
- Liver and kidney transplant experience required
- Previous charge experience required
- Current BLS certification and NBSTSA or NCCT certification
- Prior travel experience required; no first-time travelers
- Experience with scrubbing and circulating across multiple surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neurology, transplant, and vascular procedures
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
