Start Date: March 9, 2026

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, including every other weekend

Highlights:

• Lower acuity step down unit with typical 1:4 patient ratio (no drip titration)
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Primarily cardiac patients including post-surgical and interventional cardiology, plus medical and med/surg cases
• Cerner EMR system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• 36-bed unit with 8 hours of orientation

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• 1 year MS/Tele experience and 2 years step down experience
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and interpretation of cardiac rhythms/strips
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references within the past 2 years
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from facility (case-by-case consideration for 75-100 miles)
