Start Date: March 17, 2026
Location: Windsor, Vermont
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday coverage as needed

Highlights:

• Serve as backup Charge Nurse coordinating total nursing care for patients
• Work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 with an average daily census of 22
• Utilize Cerner EMR system in a collaborative clinical environment
• Float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units within scope of practice
• 13-week travel assignment with 8-hour non-billable orientation
• Call pay at $4/hour; Charge pay differential at $3/hour

Requirements:

• Active Vermont RN License or Compact license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years recent Medical Surgical and Rehab experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience (at least 3 months) required
• Charge RN experience required
• BSN preferred
• Must have reliable personal vehicle (required for this rural community)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to float to any unit within scope of practice
• All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application (maximum 5 days accepted)
