Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12.5-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 guaranteed hours per week, rotating weekends, no call required

Highlights:

• 13 or 26-week assignment in a 20-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Advanced critical care environment with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and cardiac support devices
• Experience with post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization patients requiring IABP, Impella, and ECMO
• Documentation via Meditech EMR system

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Strong critical thinking skills and hemodynamic monitoring experience (Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines)
• Ventilator management experience required
• IABP and CRRT exposure preferred
• Meditech charting and order entry experience preferred
