Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1:3 patient ratio; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period

Highlights:

• Work in a Magnet-recognized, 641-bed regional teaching hospital designated as a Level I Adult Trauma Center
• Care for adult trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology patients requiring intensive monitoring and interventions every 1-2 hours
• Utilize advanced equipment including Hercules patient repositioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps on a 21-bed unit
• Collaborate with robust interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Physical Therapy
• Work with Epic EMR system in a progressive critical care environment
• Receive reimbursement for up to 16 hours of pre-assignment module completion

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina or multistate nursing license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment; first-time travelers must have 3 years of specialty experience
• Previous IICU or ICU experience with 1:3 acuity ratio required; progressive care settings (PCU, DOU, IMC, Stepdown) will be considered based on unit acuity
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with ventilator management and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Preferred experience with trauma, neurology, surgical cases, and ventilated patients
• Must reside 100+ miles from all facilities (exceptions apply for certain specialties and shifts)
