Schedule: 8-hour shifts; holiday rotation required; non-billable orientation

Highlights:

• Provide expert lactation assessment, treatment, consultation, and care planning in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Lead interdisciplinary care coordination for patients with advanced lactation support needs
• Work with a collaborative healthcare team focused on optimal maternal and infant outcomes
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
• 13-week assignment with opportunity to make a meaningful impact on family health

Requirements:

• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification required
• Minimum of 2,500 hours of experience as a breastfeeding consultant
• 1+ years of experience as an IBCLC
• Active Massachusetts state license (RN, OT, PT, SLP, or Pharmacist)
• Experience with inpatient lactation programs required
• Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultation, and/or teaching experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Reliable personal vehicle for assignment
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
