Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week available, every other weekend and every other holiday, self-scheduling model with manager coordination

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment at a premier children's hospital with Level IV NICU and Pediatric ICU
• Work across multiple pediatric specialty units including NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics
• Opportunity to work with complex congenital heart patients, including transplants and ECMO cases
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment emphasizing strong communication and critical thinking
• Experience with specialized equipment including Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
• Orientation includes non-billable module training completed during initial hours

Requirements:

• Valid Virginia State License (may submit with pending license if temporary license can be obtained before start date; must hold another state license to be eligible for temporary)
• Active RRT, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification required
• ACCS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Cardiac PICU experience strongly preferred
• Competency in caring for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Proficiency with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Epic charting experience required
• Professional references required
