Description
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; floating within facility and to nearby campus as needed; no call required
Highlights:
- Diverse patient population including neonates, adults, and geriatrics across multiple care settings
- Work with advanced respiratory technologies including high frequency ventilators, inhaled nitric oxide, and bronchoscopy support
- Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management for streamlined documentation and workflows
- Critical care focused role with opportunities in NICU, adult ICU, and emergency department environments
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of experience
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off during assignment period
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact State respiratory therapy license
- Current RRT or CRT certification (CRT candidates must have critical care experience and 5+ years as a therapist)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Strong skills in ABG interpretation, mechanical ventilation management, airway management, and high flow nasal cannula
- Experience with CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator weaning, and troubleshooting ventilator alarms
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) required at time of application
