Description
Start Date: March 16, 2026
Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week contract; 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM shift; 5-10 cases per day; every other weekend and holiday rotation; on-call up to 3 nights per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM); no block scheduling available
Highlights:
- Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art cancer center opening May 2025, bringing together leading institutions in medical care, education, and research
- Perform interventional body and neuro procedures including endovascular interventions, abdominal and pelvic interventions, and genitourinary interventions
- Scrub and circulate in a teaching hospital environment with Level I or II trauma experience preferred
- Utilize EPIC charting system (Radiant, Q-site) with GE and Philips Angio Suite equipment
- Hospital-provided scrubs and supportive interdisciplinary team environment
- May float to main hospital if no cases in clinic
Requirements:
- Active New Jersey state license or Compact license required at time of application
- ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience in interventional radiology
- Teaching hospital experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Proficiency with sterile procedure and equipment setup, closure devices, EKOS, and angiography suite operations
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred
- First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome
