Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week; on-call as needed based on workload; 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Highlights:

• Work in a large respiratory care department practicing at the top of their license across Med/Surg, ICU step-down, and Emergency Department settings
• Patient volume of 35–45 patients per day treating adolescents through geriatrics
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• 13-week assignment with maximum 7 days RTO available
• No floating to external facilities; internal float only based on unit needs and skill set
• Comprehensive respiratory care including ventilator management, airway management, ABGs, high-flow oxygen therapy, and BiPAP/CPAP

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact State RRT license and credentials
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory care experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience in ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg, and ICU/Stepdown settings
• Proficiency in airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, vest therapy, meta-neb, PAP therapy, and heated high-flow therapy
• Experience with ventilators including Servo I and Servo U required
• NRP certification and bronchoscopy experience preferred
• CRT credentials will not be accepted; RRT required
