Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5x8 shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with on-call rotation (every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend, some holidays). Must be within 30 minutes of facility while on call.

Highlights:

• 13-week contract with possible extension
• Multi-specialty OR environment including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OBGYN, and Ophthalmology
• Ambulatory and General OR setting with PACU and Endoscopy support
• EMR system: Cerner
• Diverse case mix including endoscopic procedures, laparoscopic cases, joint replacements, and pediatric general surgery
• Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams

Requirements:

• Active RN License (West Virginia or Compact state license; pending license acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room Circulating experience
• BLS Certification required (American Heart Association)
• PALS and NRP certifications preferred (American Heart Association if required)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in required procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD, laparoscopic cases, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, hysterectomy, C-sections, cataract surgery, orthopedic procedures including total joint replacement, and pediatric appendectomy
• Preferred experience: Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy and bronchoscopy
• Must reside more than 100 miles from facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case)
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
