Location: San Antonio, Texas

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; 36 hours per week guaranteed; weekend rotation required

Highlights:

• 13 or 26-week assignment in a well-established Surgical ICU at a nationally recognized medical center
• High-acuity patient population with exposure to advanced procedures including chest tubes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and complex wound care
• Experience with IABP, CRRT, and critical care interventions in a fast-paced environment
• Meditech EMR system utilized for documentation
• Work within a faith-based healthcare organization with over 50 years of patient-focused care excellence
• Floating may be required in accordance with facility policies

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• MICU or MSICU background strongly preferred
• Previous experience with IABP and CRRT highly desirable
• Meditech experience preferred
