Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Adult and geriatric medical/surgical unit with general patient population, daily census of approximately 43
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6-7; charge role responsibilities for night shift travelers
• Epic charting system with experience managing insulin and heparin drips, wound vac dressing changes, and high flow oxygen
• 13-26 week contract lengths available with 24 hours of paid orientation
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Floating to similar units may be required based on facility needs and census

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at start)
• Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required; CPI preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency with insulin and heparin drips mandatory
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Availability to work holidays and every other weekend
• Willingness to serve on Inclement Weather/Storm Team as needed
