Description
Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 1-2 weekends call per 6-week schedule | Weekday call coverage 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 1-2 days per 6-week rotation
Highlights:
- Work in a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab within an academic medical center renowned for cardiovascular innovation
- 1:1 patient ratio – one case at a time in procedure room
- 6-room Cath Lab equipped with GE X-ray systems
- EMR: McKesson Cardiology and Cerner (online training available for candidates without prior experience)
- Rotation includes EP Lab float coverage
- No block scheduling
Requirements:
- Active Kentucky RN license
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
- Structured heart experience preferred
- Scrubbing or monitoring experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
