Schedule: Days, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Highlights:

• Work with a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac, gastric emptying, HIDA scans, renal/perfusion, and ventilation/perfusion studies
• 1:1 patient ratio with approximately 5 visits per day in a 109-bed facility with a census of 90
• Epic documentation system required with minimum 1 year of experience
• Omnicell medication management system in use
• 40-hour orientation with paid pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours reimbursable)
• Access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Active ARRT N (Nuclear Medicine) certification
• Current BLS certification
• NMTCB or CNMT certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
• At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient care
• Competency in nuclear cardiology, gastric emptying, HIDA scans, 3-phase imaging, whole body scans, liver imaging, renal/perfusion studies, and ventilation/perfusion procedures
• Experience with IV starts and maintenance, venous blood draws, and handling radioactive materials
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for this travel assignment
• Willingness to float to other qualified units within the health system as needed
