Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Utah

Start Date: March 16, 2026

Location: Millcreek, Utah

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 12-week assignment. Straight nights or 50/50 day/night rotation available. Three weekend shifts required within each 4-week period.

Highlights:

  • 24-bed Intensive Care Unit with well-established team of 46 staff members
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for higher acuity patients including IABP, CRRT, and open hearts)
  • EPIC documentation system
  • Exposure to advanced critical care procedures including rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, bronchoscopy, arterial line placement, and chest tube insertion
  • Clinical Care Technician support during day shifts when census reaches 10 patients
  • May float to PCU or provide safety observation as needed

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in Utah or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (1 year considered with strong qualifications)
  • ACLS certification required
  • Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint protocols, arterial lines, and other critical care skills
