Location: Sumter, South Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, every other weekend required, 1:4-5 patient ratio

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in neuro stepdown and cardiac telemetry
• Active South Carolina or multistate nursing license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, IV starts, port access, PICC and central line care, blood product administration
• Experience with respiratory care including trach management, HFNC, CPAP/BIPAP, chest tubes, and ABG interpretation
• Proficiency with cardiac medications including heparin protocols, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips (no titration), and PCA management
• Experience with post-MI care, cardiac catheterization, angiograms, feeding tube management, pre/post hemodialysis care, wound care, and isolation precautions
