Location: Albany, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Average patient load of 3 high acuity patients

Highlights:

• Care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients including respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring including pressor titration protocols, antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcotic drips, thrombolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, and orthopedic traction
• Respiratory support experience with HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxygen-dependent patients
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission

Requirements:

• Epic EMR experience required
• Current New York RN license or ability to obtain
• ACLS certification required
• Competency in medical and surgical patient populations
• Large-scale adult Progressive Care Unit experience or community hospital ICU experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in infection prevention protocols and management of high-acuity patient populations
