Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Texas

Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Block scheduling with variable shifts; generally every other weekend required; 24-hour orientation provided

  • PICU/NICU-focused respiratory care with diverse patient population from neonates through adolescents

  • Advanced equipment including Draeger V800/VN800 ventilators, LTV 1200, Optiflow Jr, and Airvo 2 systems
  • No floating between units; no on-call requirements

Requirements:

  • Current RRT certification and active state license (Compact license accepted)
  • BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
  • PICU/NICU experience required
  • Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I experience preferred
  • Proficiency in pediatric critical care skills including ventilator management, airway management, high-flow oxygen delivery, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomy care
  • Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
