Location: Augusta, Georgia

Schedule: 36 or 48 hour guaranteed shifts; every other weekend; no call required

Highlights:

• Medical Surgical and Remote Telemetry unit with adult to geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with a 33-bed unit and average daily census of 28
• Epic EMR system with full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Diverse case mix including diabetes, post-op care, wound vacs, bariatrics, and medical surgical diagnoses
• Comprehensive orientation with 24 hours of training and supportive unit structure with charge nurses on each shift
• Flexible time-off options with up to 7 days RTO available (blackout dates apply for Spring Break)

Requirements:

• Georgia or Compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 5:6 or similar
• Strong skills in MS/Tele, IV insulin protocols, colostomy/ileostomy care, blood product administration, wound care/wound vac, and medication administration
• Two supervisory references from Manager level or above
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
