Location: Hazleton, Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday), no call required, no floating

Highlights:

• Acute inpatient rehabilitation unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Daily census of 10-14 patients, primarily adults and geriatrics
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support team
• Charge experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome
• No call responsibilities and no unit floating required
• Opportunity to work with a diverse patient population including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and post-surgical patients

Requirements:

• Pennsylvania or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation, blood glucose monitoring, and care and management of ports
• Skills required: IV therapy, feeding tube management, central line care, wound care, and mobility assistance
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Completion of Pennsylvania fingerprinting and background check
