Location: Keene, New Hampshire

Schedule: Standard shift rotation; weekend and holiday coverage required as needed; call duties required

Highlights:

• Work within a comprehensive Surgery Department offering diverse surgical procedures including endocrine, breast and oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal (open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary cases
• Collaborate with highly skilled surgeons specializing in multiple specialty areas
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
• 13-week assignment with limited time-off options (maximum 5 days)
• Call coverage required as part of departmental needs
• Work with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity surgical environment

Requirements:

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license
• Minimum 3+ years of OR RN First Assistant experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree required
• Multiple surgical specialty experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Reliable personal transportation required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in stressful situations
