Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour shifts (1900-0730), every other weekend, holiday rotation, no call

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Patient ratios: 1:3 for days and nights

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact license from permanent address state (must be in hand at submittal)
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
• Previous experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center required
• Successfully completed at least one prior travel assignment (13 weeks minimum)
• Experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery) required
• ICU experience with adult populations required; must be willing to work with IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed
• Epic EMR experience required, preferably within the last 12 months
• BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association ONLY
• Basic Arrhythmia experience and ability to pass telemetry competency exam prior to start
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information:

• Orientation is approximately one week (28 hours) and held every other week
• Floating is required; travelers may be assigned to multiple units based on staffing needs
• Telemetry competency exam must be passed prior to clearance to start (strict passing criteria apply)
• Weekend coverage required: 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
• Time off requests considered during candidate review process
• Parking permit required if parking onsite; alternative transportation options available
