Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week; every other weekend required; floating within facility as needed

Highlights:

• 16-bed telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical diagnoses
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a progressive care environment
• Epic EMR system utilized for charting and documentation
• Manage patients with CHF, MI, chest pain, dysrhythmias, pleural effusion, sepsis, and vascular conditions
• Supportive interdisciplinary team including IV therapy, respiratory services, PT, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• First-time travelers accepted; minimum 2 years of experience required

Requirements:

• Current Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; telemetry or progressive care experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Demonstrated competency managing cardiac and vasoactive drips including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin (no titration)
• Two supervisory references from Manager level or above required at time of submission
• Ability to complete compliance requirements and be available to submit documentation within 48 hours of contract signing
• Willingness to work major holidays as scheduled per assignment period
