Location: Augusta, Georgia

Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed; every other weekend; major holidays per facility policy

Highlights:

• Float pool position with primary assignment to ICU, with flexibility across MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU units
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 in ICU; 1:4-5 in PCU; 1:5-6 in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
• Epic charting system required; Pyxis and SBAR also utilized
• Comprehensive orientation with specialty-specific modules included
• 13-week contract with up to 7 days of approved time off; Spring Break blackout dates apply (April 4-12)
• Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response, and more

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 2:1 to 3:1
• Strong clinical skills including ventilator management, arterial line care, central line management, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with neuro and surgical intensive care populations preferred
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
