Location: Austin, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 13-week contract; includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; no call required

Highlights:

• 6-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with small, close-knit team environment
• Patient ratios: 2:1 (ICU), or 1 ICU/2 IMC, or 1 ICU/2 Med-Surg per RN
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
• Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps and ventilators
• CLABSI/CAUTI free since 2014 – recognized for outstanding infection control
• 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement on day shift

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• PALS and BLS certifications required
• Previous PICU experience including ventilators and drips
• NICU experience preferred
• 1-2 years of PICU experience highly preferred
• Navy scrubs required; no artificial nails permitted
