Location: Bossier City, Louisiana

Compensation: $55/hour – details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7 on/7 off rotating schedule; Wednesday-Friday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday-Tuesday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Highlights:

• Competitive hourly rate of $55 with full-time hours on a rotating 7-day on, 7-day off schedule
• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures across multiple sections including Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis
• Operate and maintain advanced laboratory instrumentation and equipment with opportunities for troubleshooting and technical skill development
• No call requirement – predictable work schedule with extended time off between rotation cycles
• Cross-training opportunities to expand expertise across various laboratory sections
• Participate in quality control programs and development of new testing procedures and protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution
• Active certification as MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS (must be kept current if certification has an expiration date)
• Louisiana State Licensure required
• For new graduates: Board Certification or eligibility (must complete within 1 year of hire, Louisiana excluded)
• One year of approved clinical laboratory experience including rotations through Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids (waived for NAACLS-accredited program graduates)
