Description
Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Block schedule with rotating on-call coverage; 2-4 weekday call shifts per month plus 1 weekend every 6 weeks; occasional weekend day shift coverage as needed
Highlights:
- Work in a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching facility serving all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Perform diverse EEG procedures including routine, sleep deprived, ambulatory, long-term monitoring, EMU (adult and pediatric), and portable recordings across ICU, NICU, and PICU settings
- Epic charting system in use; 1:1 patient ratio for focused, quality care
- On-call structure includes minimum 3-hour pay guarantee with call-back incentive; pagers turned off at 9pm with neurologist-only contact thereafter
- Post-call PTO protection – no requirement to work your regular shift after being on call

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of EEG technologist experience
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Level 1 Trauma center experience preferred
- Required skills: ECI Brain Death, Electrode Placement, Portable Recording (ICU, NICU, PICU), Sleep Deprived EEG, Sleep EEG
- Preferred skills: Ambulatory EEG, Long Term Monitoring/Video Monitoring, Emergency Department experience
- Valid state licensure (can submit with licensure pending)
- Reliable transportation required; may float between hospital units and affiliate facilities
- 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
