• High-acuity surgical trauma floor specializing in spinal neuro trauma, critical injuries, and complex cases
• Patient population includes spinal trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 with strong support staff including nursing techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries
• EPIC EMR system in use; structured nurse handoff process from ED to admitting unit
• Contract start date in early March with immediate impact on patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility for compact licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in surgical trauma or neuro trauma specialty
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
• Willingness to work assigned shifts; block scheduling not available
