Start Date: March 9, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 1:6 patient ratio, every other weekend required, 13-26 week contracts accepted

Highlights:

• Primarily Medical-Surgical patients with Oncology history in a 42-bed unit
• Chemotherapy administration experience required with ONS/ONCC certification prior to start
• 24-hour orientation (2 shifts) with Epic EMR, Pyxis medication system
• Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations based on census needs
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years RN experience in inpatient setting

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an inpatient setting
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Med/Surg, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line management, PICC lines, heparin and insulin administration
• Proficiency in colostomy care, surgical drains, chest tubes, wound care/wound vac, and isolation precautions
• Ability to administer chemotherapy/biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection routes
• Willingness to participate in storm team/hurricane team assignments and work during catastrophic events if required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
