Start Date: March 12, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Hospital-based schedule with rotation across all patient care areas; on-call and weekend requirements to be determined

Highlights:

• Work with inpatient and outpatient populations across all age groups requiring cardiopulmonary evaluation and respiratory care
• Perform respiratory care duties throughout all areas of the hospital, including critical care and labor and delivery units
• Epic electronic medical record system in use
• Provide life support services and patient/family education following established protocols and physician orders
• Collaborative environment with opportunities to utilize advanced respiratory therapy skills
• Temporary assignment with competitive compensation

Requirements:

• Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Associate's Degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
• Labor and Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation experience required
• Critical care proficiency required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current skills checklist (within one year) and supervisory reference from within the past two years
• Must hold valid New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate
• Completion of required de-escalation training (Welle or CPI) for onboarding
