Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Houston, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day and night shifts available; 2:1 and 1:1 patient ratios; minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month

Highlights:

  • 22-bed Cardiovascular ICU in a progressive South Tower facility
  • Advanced equipment including vents, CRRT, Impella, and ECMO
  • Meditech Expanse EMR system
  • Typical procedures include intubation and cannulation
  • Day shift staffing averages 14 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Tech
  • Float coverage to CVIMU and Medical IMU as needed

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Texas
  • Current CVICU experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Impella and ECMO experience strongly preferred
  • Royal blue scrubs required
