Job Opportunity – Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist – Louisiana

Start Date: March 2, 2026

Location: Shreveport, Louisiana

Compensation: $55/hour – Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7 on/7 off rotation, Wednesday through Tuesday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with flexibility and potential schedule adjustments. No call required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution, or equivalent laboratory training meeting CLIA regulation 42CFR493.1489
Active certification as MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS (must maintain current certification if applicable)
Louisiana State Licensure required
New graduates with board certification or eligibility welcome (must complete board certification within 1 year of hire)
One year of approved clinical laboratory experience preferred, including rotations through Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids
