Description
Start Date: May 4, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days; 1:1 patient ratio; On-call requirement: one weeknight per week (6:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and approximately every 5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)
- Short-term acute care facility with 418 staffed beds and 4 state-of-the-art Cath Lab rooms
- Diverse case mix including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, stroke/cerebral angiograms, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology
- Advanced equipment and technology including Impella, IABP, Rotoblator, ICE ultrasound, IVUS, OCT, Penumbra, Inari, Shockwave, and Laser systems
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and unit secretary
- Epic charting system; free parking provided
- 40-hour orientation with ongoing professional development opportunities
- Valid state licensure with multi-state licensure preferred
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R), CCI RCIS
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
- Previous travel healthcare experience required – no first-time travelers
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with stroke/cerebral angiograms, cardiac procedures, and interventional radiology strongly preferred
- Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including PCI, PTCA, stent placement, and cardiac implant closure devices
- Experience with vascular closure systems, STEMI protocols, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
- Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years
