Description
Start Date: March 16, March 23, or March 30, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Operating room schedule with call coverage once on a weekday and one weekend every 4-5 weekends; 1:1 patient ratio

- Multidisciplinary team environment supporting complex surgical cases across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Preferred experience with kidney transplant procedures valued
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact license from permanent address state (must be in hand at submittal)
- Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years in general surgery specialty
- BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association only
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from work site
- Proficiency with general surgery procedures including laparoscopic, robotic, trauma, and oncological cases
- Experience with abdominal surgeries, hernia repairs, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colectomy, and burns management
- Trauma Level I or Level II experience preferred
- Ability to convert laparoscopic cases to open procedures as needed
- Comfort with cases transitioning to involve vascular surgery
- Pass/fail telemetry competency testing required with strict passing criteria
