Description
Start Date: March 9, 2026
Location: Arlington, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 20-hour orientation, predominantly outpatient setting with daily census of 35-50 patients
Highlights:
- Work in both Pre-Op and Phase 2 Recovery within a dedicated GI unit
- Outpatient focus with EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS procedures
- Patient ratios: 1:1 pre-op, 1:3 post-op
- Epic charting system with mandatory training provided
- 13-week travel assignment with extension opportunity
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams
Requirements:
- Active Virginia nursing license required at time of submission
- ACLS and BLS certifications current and in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- IV start proficiency required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred (statement of experience required)
- Community hospital experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
