Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week period; floating may be required based on facility needs

Highlights:

• 25-bed medical-surgical unit with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
• Care for post-operative patients including amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, and wound vacs
• Experience with tracheostomy, wound care, dialysis, PCA pumps, and Heparin drips
• EMR system: Meditech; standard equipment includes Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lifts, and Alaris IV Pumps
• Strong emphasis on patient experience with bedside shift reporting and safety rounding
• Supportive charge nurses and leadership team with experienced unit staff

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee (or multistate compact license)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Competency in basic patient assessments and management of wounds, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, and chest tubes
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Adherence to infection prevention protocols (CVC and Foley monitoring, fall prevention, 100% medication scanning)
